Rt: Effective Reproduction Number

A common concern is the rate at which the virus is growing. This is known as Rt - the average number of people who become infected by an infectious person. If the Rt > 1, the virus will spread quickly and if Rr < 1, the virus will stop spreading. This model was created by Kevin Systrom and Thomas Vladeck and the case count data is collected from The COVID Tracking Project.
